DJ Harmony (aka Cheryl Petersen) is a second generation entertainer. Growing up with the influences of many genres including jazz, classical, and mainstream hits, her ear for music was developed early in life. Being from a family of entertainers, she also learned the flair for the live performance and entertaining an audience.
She has also performed for companies such as Carnival Cruise Lines (aka Holland America), Citigroup, Southwest Airlines, Bank of America, and Wal-Mart to name a few.
With the ability to read a crowd and change on a whim, it’s a guaranteed great time with DJ Harmony!
In addition to spinning tunes, Cheryl is also actively involved within her community in Florida and travels to various musical events. When she's not providing great music for people, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her pets, family, and friends at home.
Today, DJ Harmony enjoys living in Palm Coast, FL and can be seen performing at various events in and around Florida.

DJ Harmony did an absolutely phenomenal job as DJ for my daughter's wedding. Beginning with the first meeting, she was professional, prepared and very thorough. On the actual day, she arrived early to get set up, she checked in with me several times when pictures were being taken to let me know how things were progressing in the reception, and once the wedding party arrived she took over and made the evening a memorable one for all. She played a great mix of music, got everyone involved (and dancing), and she emceed the entire evening to make sure it all flowed smoothly. I would recommend her to anyone! It was fabulous!!

My husband and I were very pleased with Cheryl's DJ services at our wedding. She came to our house on more than one occasion to comb through both ours and her music collection to get an accurate picture of what we wanted to hear. We were very impressed by how much time she spent with us and how she went out of her way to be accommodating to our fairly ecclectic tastes.
She moved the reception along exactly as we had planned. All of my guests had a blast. I never had to worry about her professionalism, promptness or performance. I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

Second, I would have to say that her music selection is extensive - from the easy listening songs I prefer, to the newer stuff the kids like - she has it all! DJ Harmony was awesome! She livened up the reception with a great personality and fun games. Side note from DJ Harmony - Tim really wanted the song played but it was full of foul language. What I did was locate a karaoke version of the song. This provided an instrumental version which eliminated the problem with the lyrics. Tim loved what I did and had a ball dancing with his buddies.
Great job of involving the crowd in the celebration and leading warm-up before the event. I enjoyed that DJ Harmony met with me personally prior to the event to discuss details and introduce herself. Wonderful customer service!
